Hey, I'm Doug. I live in Tampa, Florida, where I craft impactful digital experiences.

From a young age, I’ve always been drawn to creating and understanding how things work. Whether it was taking apart gadgets or crafting art by hand, my curiosity and passion for making have been constant companions. As I grew into a web developer, that same spirit drove me to continually explore new technologies and find innovative solutions, becoming an expert at navigating challenges and implementing effective answers.

Now, as the VP of Web and Digital Experience at SmartBear, I have the privilege of leading an incredible team, diving into a variety of projects, and supporting developers and testers around the globe. I firmly believe that a happy, engaged team is the foundation of great performance, so I prioritize creating a positive environment while also pushing us to deliver impactful results that drive the business forward.

Outside of work, I’m a family man who enjoys playing guitar, building things, staying active with sports, and indulging in some video gaming. I’m outgoing, friendly, and love bringing positivity into everything I do, but I also know when it’s time to buckle down and get the job done. Looking ahead, my goal is simple: keep evolving, learning, and embracing new challenges in the ever-changing landscape of technology and creativity.
